When should we order our wedding suite?

For our hand-finished Signature Suites, we recommend securing your wedding date a minimum of 6 months prior to your wedding to allow adequate time for design, proofing, production and delivery - and allowing you to give your guests 3-4 months of notice. For destination weddings you may want to give more notice based on your personal preference.

As our Signature Suites focus on handcrafted finishes, we have limited capacity per wedding season and so early booking is encouraged - particularly for peak wedding seasons, you may want to secure your date earlier than 6 months.

For our ready-to-order suites, we recommend purchasing your wedding invitations a minimum of 4 months prior to your wedding date. This is to allow a month for semi-custom design (wording) and proofing, printing and shipping. You should then have a 3 months' notice for your guests. For busy wedding seasons, you may want to give your guests more notice.

When should invitations be sent to guests?

We recommend sending invitations approximately 3-4 months prior to your wedding date. This may also be influenced on whether you sent out Save the Dates.

For destination weddings or international guests and peak wedding seasons, earlier mailing timeframes may be recommended depending on location and travel requirements.

Can you create fully custom designs?

The Heirloom Edit operates through curated seasonal collections with selective personalisation options available. We are a semi-custom wedding stationery studio which means we allow minor customisations in wording, design and finishes from our curated selection of options.

We do not offer fully custom bespoke wedding suites.

What can be personalised?

Depending on the collection selected, we offer selective personalisations which can include:

  • names, details, wording and minor layout adjustments to accommodate for wording variations

  • colour palettes from our collections curated colour palettes

  • paper pairings

  • trimming material options from our signature suite selections

  • print finishes (upgrades available for blind embossing, letterpress and die-cut finishes)

  • suite configurations

Extensive redesigns and any add ons (eg. additional details cards, photo card, return address printing, double thickness stock etc.) may be accepted at an additional fee if agreed upon by The Heirloom Edit and if these designs suit our creative direction. This is all a part of the Design Consultation process which we invite you to upon your Signature Suite Application.

Do you ship world-wide?

The Heirloom Edit is designed in Adelaide, Australia and is currently available Australia-wide. We will be expanding to world-wide services in the very near future.

Do you have a minimum order quantity?

Yes, we have a minimum of 50 invitation suites as production costs increase with lower quantities.

It is important to remember that invitations are typically ordered per household and not guest number when planning your order quantity for your wedding suite.

Are your pieces handcrafted?

Our Signature Suites focus on handcrafted finishes that create an immersive and textural experience for your wedding stationery - every wedding invitation suite is produced using artisanal methods and carefully selected materials.

Do you offer day-of stationery?

We are working on creating our on-the-day stationery collection that feels as curated as our invitation suites. Until then, we do not offer day-of-stationery.

What is the investment range?

Investment varies depending on the suite, finishes, quantity, and any additions.

Due to the handcrafted and editorial nature of our work, each suite in our shops lists the minimum investment information. An exact quote based on your selections and any additions you request will be provided after your design consultation.

How do we begin?

Select the suite you are after and pay the $300 deposit to secure your wedding date.

If your wedding date is accepted, you will receive a Welcome Guide and an invitation to your private design consultation via email within 1-2 business days. Once completed, we then have an understanding of your selections and can provide you with a full quote and any design direction you may be seeking.
